Was doing a bit of shopping yesterday in Balsall Common, not far from Solihull, when my ears were tuned in to an awesome sounding V8 coming up the road.To my surprise it was a brand new (on trade plates) 110.I couldn't resist having a closer look when it parked up.It was black, had a different plastic looking front bumper, left hand drive with a very plush full leather interior, automatic, huge alloys with big shiny AP Racing callipers showing through.Unfortunately I didn't get to speak to the LR employees driving it.Anybody know what it is?

Hi

Land Rover build so many diffrent variants that don't get sold into the UK or Europe because of the Teir 3 and 4 Emissions....

I suspect this is a South African or Asian Build.

They do actually still make 300TDI Defenders, but they are not sold into Europe....

That spec doesn't sound like any production version for any market in my opinion.

Maybe special evhicles are making something for a movie, or a customer?

It was the JE Engineering Zulu defender. Fitted with
4.2 supercharged V8 and 480 bhp. Very impressive
piece of kit. I am in talks at the moment with them
to convert my Defender. Those brakes are carbon
cermaic and cost 9g! Think I will stick with steel
ap brakes if I go ahead.
The suspension spec is something else too!!
