Disco 3 TDV6 - buyers guide?

I'm looking at getting a Disco - preffered spec. is diesel, manual, SE etc. and was wondering if there was such a thing as a buyers guide out there or a list of the likely problem areas with these cars?

Does anyone actually ever achieve 30mpg or is this an impossibility (thinking of using the car a fair bit if I can)?

Yes, you can get >30MPG, but you'll be kidding yourself if you think this will be the norm. My trip computer has read 35MPG, but it is a bit optomistic. I get 25-28MPG with mixed driving.

Thanks for that, i'll check it out. 25-28mpg is fine and getting a bit more on long runs does help.
