There’s no way of hiding this: I’m on the scrounge.

What I would like is photographs of various Land Rovers with RV8 engines. I’m in particular need of the early Landies, such as the forward control 110” military one of around 1972 and the Land Rover V8 pre 83.

I’m also after, preferably contemporary, post 83 90” and 110” and, indeed, what have you. Anything interesting with an RV8 as well. This is non-commercial so no money but I’d be more than happy to acknowledge source in whatever method you would prefer. I'd prefer vehicles in action but I suppose I can't be too picky.

If you’d like to know more – although there’s not much more to tell – use the PM facility or send your pictures to derekdeksmith AT btinternet.com

The 110 V8 SAS DPV/SOV. Of the 72 vehicles procured by the regt. This is one of only four genuine examples left in existance.Three are in private hands. And one is in the Dunsfold collection. the remainging 68 were cut up during 05-07. these happen to be the best sounding V8 LR,s around...............

NAS 90....................

V8 LLAMA. The shelved project replacement for the 101 LR..........

The 110 SOV as operated by the 175th U.S Rangers. This differed from the SAS version,as it was based on a 5 door body.Where as the SAS DPV was based on the Hi-Cap pickup body....
