I have a 04/54 4.4 V8 and after my OH borrowed it the other day she complained that it was not a car she could hustle if she was in a hurry!

Do the later ones handle better or is there an anti roll bar upgrade available that makes it corner a bit flatter? If there is is it a cost effective upgrade?

Any help appreciated!

Easy solution: Clicky
Two and a half tonnes doesn't go round corners that well. You could try the a/r bars from the Supercharged RR and even the Brembo brakes, but she'll still be in the wrong car for 'whizzing'.

Rangies can be hustled at a prodigious rate which belies their size - working with the car, instead of forcing it, and turning in in two stages (gentle in, allow suspension to settle, then increase the lock) both allow it to move with surprising alacrity. It'll never handle like a Cayenne, let alone a saloon, but if you just fling it into corners and expect it to behave, it won't. Treat her gently, but firmly. (The car that is, not the wife).

Cheers guys, and thanks for the elise link but not a family car!

Found JE Engineering which do uprated anti roll bars, its really just to stop the wife feeling ill, even when she drives it!

I seem to have no problem hustling it along smile
