Does anyone have similar experience of use of different car carburetor installed in Land Rover. Considering the landy is mainly used for city driving, carburetor originally used for 1800 cc Toyota is an option to increase fuel economy. Is this common or will it give the landy disadvantage?

A Disco 3 or Landrover Series 3? I doubt it would work on the Disco as A) it is diesel and b) needs all the elctric gubbins.

If it is for a 2.5 petrol series 3 then I doubt it would make much difference if you could do it anyway.

Serie 3.

It's already done, for city driving it works fine, increasing fuel economy a bit, but the main reason was the Toyota carburetor can be obtained easy. What worries me it may cause overheat engine if it has to cover more distance or heavy duty of off-road trip.
