There is a fault warning "air suspension inactive" appeared on the dash. I do not know whether it is a coincidence but the message came up immediately after a trailer was attached and the electrics hooked up. Although the tow bar was fitted when bought it was the first time a trailer had been attached and the electrics hooked up. I can only assume the two are connected but have no ides where to start looking.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

Depends on the type of towbar. Some lock the air suspension out (the manual refers).

Otherwise, start the car and turn the steering from lock to lock. Should sort it.

Cheers for the reply JW. I did not mention that since the trailer and electric hook up have been taken off the fault is still there. Tried the lock to lock and the fault is still there. Any other suggestions will be very welcome.

Thanks Matt, the only one I can see covered there is "problems with ride height suspension" and this sounds to be a slightly different problem as they get no dash fault with that.
Keep the suggestions coming please guys.

You could try disconnecting the battery for a few hours and reconnecting?

I had this happen to me, and unfortunately it was a reset and suspension software upgrade from LandRover frown

Cheers Trigger, I will try a reset tonight and let you know how it goes. Will I need to reprogram any radio codes etc after the reset?

I think you will.

Can't remember as it happened 4 years ago, and I no longer have the car to check the manual.

Cheers for the advice guys. Auto electrician took a look along with the screens and playstation. Everything now working fine and said the reason for the suspension fault was "full of static"
It's fixed anyway so thanks again to those that replied.
