My 1976 Landy Series III 109 has "ORA" freewheeling hubs but I have never been able to make the LH one oil-tight as it has been cracked. Does anyone have an old "ORA" end-cap lurking in their garage that is surplus to requirements?

Alternatively, if someone has any other brand of (non-leaking!) freewheeling hubs for sale, I would replace both sides. I'm in Lytham (Near Blackpool) and could collect them if not too far away.

Afraid I can't help much, but all the reading I've done on freewheeling hubs suggests that they all leak and are not that great.

I'm also slightly sceptically about any real gains they offer either.

Yeah, I've read the same stuff, but as they are already fitted I was going to initially try and fix the left one. Failing that, I could just go back to standard drive flanges, but I don't know if that is a big job?

I had 'freebies' and they weeped like a pregnant Nun.

If you go to Old Sodbury, the 2nd hand sale, you're sure to find some. Plus loads of other tatt you never knew you needed.

Clean up the inside of the cracked one and slather some JB Weld on it. Them install them both with some Permatex #2.
