1999 Disco CD Changer question
Discussion
Mine did this and it got removed and currently sits in my loft!!!
Try sliding a credit card or other thin card between the cassette and the body of the unit. I can't remember exactly where it is, but there's a release barb. I think it's on the bottom side of the cassette. I (annoyingly) found it after 'd dismantled the entire unit to get the cassette out!!! If you can't find it in-situ, it doesn't take long to remove the uit so you can see inside it better.

Take the changer out. Take the top off to reveal all the workings. Plug the power lead back in and see what is happening when you press the eject button.
Wiggle a few bits around and press eject again. It won't be long before it starts working.
Mine did the same recently and that's how I cleared it and it's been working perfectly since.

unplug the unit from behind the seat, plug it back in (do both with the key on) and it will usually spit the magazine out. I had some problems with mine until I found the wires to the changer were pinched under the changer's mounting bracket.
