Discussion
Well you'd have to find the map first as it don't have one unless it is one of the rare late model ones with half a brain

Probably an ECU controlled one. Not sure what can be done to these nowadays. I know there were issues in the past.
Your best bet is to speak to one of the tuners.
Allisport
Jeremy J Fearn
Twisted Performance
I went to Allisport but my uncle used Jeremy J Fearn.
All very good and they should be able to tell you what you can and can't do.
Is it worth it???
YES!
It'll transform how the car drives, it'll make it quicker too but its the feel as much as anything. And when driven sensibly you should see better mpg too.
Main upgrades are more fuel (more black smoke, but that's all part of diesel tuning, but shouldn't be bad at all, mine hardly smokes).
And a bigger intercooler.
That's it really. You can go for a lot more mods, but the gains start to tail off and cost a lot more.
