Finally, after 6 months of probing the entire 4X4 industry, i've landed at this predicimant. About to head to a dealer with 20 grand, but need best thoughts/advice on which model.

The two are:

RR Sport HSE TD6 2.7 deisel
or
RR vogue 3.0 diesel.

Its one of the two above, as thats my budget and I've no interest in petrol engine, etc. Far from a speed lover. Comments appreciated.

If your name was druggser rather than duggser then you would buy the Sport smile

Sport is likely to be better off road than a pre 07 (I think) FF RR, if it has the locking E diff anyway.

FF RR should be a nicer place to be.

What year are the cars?

the 2007 FF had a new LR Terrain Response system fitted

The question you need to ask is how much off roading you'll be doing and whether you would use it.

Suggest testing both cars and making a decision from there - I did as I originally wanted a Sport but the test drive made me change my mind

thanks for comments. Have allways slightly fancied the vogue for some reason. Think it the idea of crusing around in a couch laughing at all others does it smile

The reliability post just added worries me. But you cant help what you adore.

thanks again.

I recently considered both of these and have just bought an 04 TD6 vogue. Personally I found the Sport had limited space in the rear (only matters if you need it I guess) and the quality of the interior was not as good. I also preferred the look of the Vogue, but that's subjective. All in my opinion of course !

Vogue all the way, you'd be stupid to get a sport!
