freelander 2 fuel consumption? What do you get?

Hi all, was wondering what everybody is getting fuel consumption wise, I'm averaging 26.7 mpg and was thinking that it was a bit low or is this about right?

Is it a diesel auto or manual? Sounds very low if you've got a manual and drive carefully but probably not too bad for an auto if you're heavy footed. In saying that, you should be able to get 27-30 mpg out of a Disco 3 with careful driving. If you've got an SI6 petrol then you're doing brilliantly!

It's a manual TD4, and i drive carefully!
