Hi Guys,

Having purchased a 2000 disco 2, i have been having a few problems. The brakes were vibrating when i bought it, now the ABS is constantly cutting in. I (sory, a specialist) replaced the discs and pads as i was thinking i had a warped front disc. not so. the ABS is still cutting in and i have now noticed that she sits down to the back and one side (rear passenger, for what its worth!) o, one more thing, when the ABS is cutting in, but not everytime, I am getting hill descent and rear lifting lights coming on.

my question? do i replace the ABS sensor (70 quid) or would it more likely be a computer/ECU problem???

as ever, thanking you for your knowledge!!

If it's sitting down at one side, it's the air suspension bag (probably costs about £150 to replace and is about 15 mins work). Don't wait too long to do this or the compressor will pack up. You need to find a cheap independent to read out the faults from the ECU.
