My mums Y reg' Freelander V6 Auto has started randomly showing the TC, ABS and Hill Desent Control warning lights (they all come on together), nothing seems wrong with the car or the way it drives, annoyingly she wouldn't actually try the ABS to see if it would lock-up (I'll try it myself tomorrow).

Has anyone got any ideas? Any suspect areas I should check? Known problems?

ABS sensor. common with them, and pricey via LR.

Yeah that was what I expected, anyone know of a walkthrough for testing them? Usually some sort of resistance test?

Can't remember the procedure for testing ABS sensors on them, I'm guessing it's just resistance / voltage. But, get a fault code readout first, 500 is abs sensors iirc.
First thing I'd check is the wiring to the sensors, often just corroded or bad connections.

The problem is often referred to as 'the three amigos' on account of the 3 lights you get, search for it on landyzone or the freelander forum. The sensors themselves are something stupid like 230 quid from land rover, but you can get them way cheaper if you search around, landzone might prove useful, if not fleabay and the like, or bearmach / paddock spares etc.
