Impact of new Range Rover model
Discussion
Any new model will ofcourse impact used prices. The RRS I thing will be impacted the most as the new 2010 model is a huge advancement. Once the s/c RRis less than 50%, then I don't thing you'll see the new model having a massive impact, as they lose enough on their own! Happy shopping......
Thanks for the advice, guys. Am I better off with the SC RR Sport or the SC RR. There is only my partner and I, with a budget of around 35k. I want the best for my money and I am really fussy so would also be looking for an immaculate example! I live in Weymouth and I will be making 8 trips to Nottingham in the next two years. I want the most relaxing car to drive. My heart says the SC RR but I am not sure my budget will stretch to a good enough example.

Depends what you call relaxing... If you want softer suspension then go for RR, but if you want maximum driver aids, the RRS has Adaptive Cruise Control - which I think is the best feature ever invented for a relaxing motorway drive. However, you have to drive both to make that decision - they drive VERY differently!
Briefly the main advantages of one over the other are:
RR
Reverse parking camera
Venture cam (debatable benefit)
Split tailgate (for picnics)
More likely to have TV (within your budget)
Nicer (and bigger) interior
Heated steering wheel
RRS
Adaptive Cruise Control
Terrain response (might get this on a later RR - but probably out of your budget)
Dynamic Response (Active anti-roll bars = flatter cornering)
More personalisation options
More modern electronics / styling / image
I went through this decision 3 months ago and plumped for the better dynamics and ACC of the Sport (and I'm not sure I'm old enough for a RR yet
