Alternator needed for 2002 (new Shape)Range Rover

The alternator on my 2002 Ranger Rover has packed up. Wimbledon Land Rover have called to say the part is on back order and not sure when it will be in stock.
Can anyone point me in the direction of another source that may be able to get hold of a new (or maybe reconditioned ?) one
