Range Rover 4.4 V8 Buying Tips & Advice
Discussion
I would stick to low mileage RRs. If you can't afford to pay those asking prices, you may not beable yo afford the running costs of a £100k LR322. They can be very expensive go fix, that is why they are so cheap in the first place. A warranty is a good bet, but Land Rover will only provide a full one up to 60k miles. What does tfat say??
If you find a good one, they are great cars. Only buy the Vogue editions.

I looked for a long time and bought my 60k miler a year ago (now done 75k) - and even now I reckon I got a good one. Its a fantastic car... but Triple7 isn't wrong about the maintenance costs. I must have spent a third of the purchase price keeping mine on the road this last year. That's at least half a dozen trips to the main dealer, some for several days. I've learn't not to worry about trying to make everything work perfectly, there's always something - usually minor that needs sorting and sometimes its a biggy. Last one for me was the gearbox lockout in third when it overheats. Defeated the LR diagnostics so lucky t'internet was available for me to find out what they needed to do and insist they did it....otherwise that would have messed up my holiday in France.
