Two questions for you :-

> Do you need to be standing almost next to the car before you plipper will unlock / lock the car?

> Does your car keep immobilising itself when you turn it off so that you have to lock it and unlock it before it will start.

I can generally activate mine from about a car length away.

Yes it does imobilse occasionally, usually when we have left the keys in it.

Ha - mine unlocks easier if your standing at the rear of it, and locks easier if by the drivers door.

If you hold onto the raised air intake or aerial it may help boost the signal. Ali body wont.

I tried that already! It doesn't work on this plipper (does on my other car though).

no to the first one.........I suggest changing the batteries.

I have sold 5 or 6 of these over the last month and some seem to immobilize themselves if not started 60 seconds after the button on the key fob is pressed and others don't........usual Landy then!
