I cant believe how impossible it is to find parts for my 6 year old Disco 2. I have a worn watts linkage bush (RGX100960)and not one LR dealer has them in stock, and more astonishingly nor do Land Rover themselves with no stock due in. This is unbelievable. I bet I could get everything I need for 50 year old vehicle. Through trawling through every possible avenue ( including one LR dealer who said if he had one he wouldn't sell it to me due to its rarity) I managed to find someone that had just the 1 in stock. So I will be dismantling the whole assembly and changing only 1 of the 2 bushes.

Hopefully that will solve the clonking.

I think you main problem is likely to be working with the Land Rover official distribution system. There are several independent LR parts specialist who are likely to have them in stock, for example Paddocks, John Cradock etc.

That is the problem, absolutely no-one has them, not even specialists. Beware those that say they do as a lot of websites say in stock, but being dubious i phoned to check and sure enough ....no stock

Try QT, they are building the Wildcat which uses Disco 2 suspension linkage (albeit with a modified Watt's linkage) I bet they have a source for the Watt's linkage bushes.
Hope that helps...

I found one, I believe to be the only one in the country after scouring all the LR systems and lots of helpful dealers putting me in touch with a distant LR dealer who happened to have one in stock. After trying to remove the linkage myself and realising that this is virtually impossible I took it to Guy Salmon Portsmouth who changed it for me. It is so nice to go drive without knocking.
