Rear seat belt mountings in 2-door RR
Discussion
Hi there,
Have been trying to buy rear seatbelts for my 2-door Range Rover (never previously fitted). Supplier has informed me that the wheel arches should have a strengthenning plate or bracket fitted but the part is obsolete. I have a 1970s parts manual which shows the seatbelts and the rear wheel arches but no brackets / plates.
Does anyone know what these looked like so that I can fabricate one, did they just spread the load over the wheel arch or did they effectively bolt the belts to something more substantial ?
