Replacement RRS front bumper 'not available'?

Am looking for some help please.

Wife ran into the back of someone the other week. No-one hurt and very slight damage all round.

We're going through the insurance and the guys doing the work to our (09, 58plate) Range Rover Sport TDV8 are telling me that Land Rover say there's a problem with the mould for the front bumepers and they've all been withdrawn and being re-issued and there's no 'available date' yet.

Does anyone know anything about this? Is it likely that there are no new/replacement front bumpers available at all?

Doesn't sound right at all, have heard often of LR being unable to supply certain parts that are on back order due to a high number of those parts failing.

But didn't think the F bumper was one of those, I'll remember to take it easy then.

Is this a LR Bodyshop telling you that?

It's not a land rover bodyshop (it's a reputable indie, friend of a friend) and they say they're being told ths by land rover.
