Just collected my 2010 RR Autobiography

Just collected my 2010 RR Autobiography last week. Its the V8 diesel, black with ivory, piano black wood pack, half wood steering wheel.
Love the car, drives nice but having second thoughts about spending so much money. Standard spec is £76k I think, mine cost me £84k with stereo upgrade, laminated privacy glass etc. I will keep it for 3 years probably so hopefully get my moneys worth.
I had a RR Sport overfinch before this and I had that for over 2 years, thats the longest I have ever kept a car. I did consider another overfinch one but Iam 41 years old now and didnt want to look like a gangster from moss side, however the overfinch do look a lot better than a standard one.
I got the new autobiography because I wanted a change and a bit more class.
In my opinion the RR is the best 4x4 on the market.

Wow, sounds like a stunning car. How are you finding that electronic dash?
I wouldnt worry about the costs....Cars are for enjoying and they dont get much better than a FFRR!
Wise move on the Overfinch, Im not liking their new direction much. The orginal L322 570 was cool, but theyve been going downhill with every facelifted version, imo

Could it be that he wanted more than 12 to the gallon ? Plus there is nothing wrong tdv8,imo the best engine for this car.Did you order the car or find one sitting at a dealer? I am struggling to find any RR dealer with a Supercharged Autobiography in stock, except for demo units. I think the stocks of all LR products are being held back to try and keep their prices high, this is stupid as they will soon lose customers to other brands. Also, the dealers do not seem keen to discount very much, I am used to getting about £12-14,000 off the list price of these cars (I've had three in the last four years), which helps a bit as they do dump masses of money when it comes to selling them on. My current one has been absolutely superb so I kept it far longer than the others (2007 '56' with 68,000 miles averaging 17.4mpg - looking for a new home soon)

You can maybe get a tad more than 6% depends on options. Dealers are being tougher and stock is no longer the joke it was, they are building primarily to order to finally sort out the over supply and deprecation issues. Not that such cars will ever be anything but an expense, but it is all relative. The 2010 model is very special, I have a Vogue SE with god knows how many options on it (incldsing reclining rear seats and videos) coming March 1st. Decided to calm down after years of 450- 500 bhp daily runners. Few cars can do most things, and a Range Rover is at home outside the Dorchester or in a muddy field in Cumbria. Very classy. Current model starting to look a bit bling mind. I would have loved to have been brave and gone with another colour bar black, but it still is the colour in demand, between Sartorini and Stornoway you have over 75% of colour choice.One question, is the stereo upgrade worth it? Seems expensive for an upgrade of an already well known system. Anyone got experience of both?

Do post some pics if possible SMR, the motor sounds awesome.
Have seen a couple of 2010 model year RR's on the road of late and the new front and rear lights look great, very up to date and classy.
To the posts mentioning depreciation, I am sure SMR is / was aware of this when buying, fair play to him for taking the punt and going for a new 'un.
