Classic wipers- one stopped working this morning

Any ideas on what i have to do?

They were both working perfectly last night, started up this morning with a heavy frost,, left for a couple of minutes, put on the wipers and only the passenger side is working? (sods law i guess)

The drivers side appears to have power going to it as it twitches, but will not arc across the screen?

Any pointers

Or a surefire way to guarantee it wont rain later as i have to go out!

Mine did this when I stupidly turned them on in a heavy frost. Flip up the little plastic cover where the wiper arm is attached to the body of the car. There's a small nut which in my case, had come loose when I turned the wiper on. Tightened the nut and all good.
