Spent the morning towing neighbours up the hill out of our Cul de Sac with my old Series III. Apart from the mean cow across the road with the Prius who continually tells me how it is killing her planet. She couldn't get her car off her driveway. I gave her a friendly wave as I took her neighbour's C3 up the hill and somehow decided that I couldn't be bothered to offer her any assistance at all!

That is classic! I'm suprised a pack of squirrels didnt come from the wild to her aid and pull her car from the ice!

Considering your car is likely to be over 30 years old, I would say she's missing the point somewhat. Buying a new car...shame on her.

It does raise an interesting question as I wonder how old a car has to be before even the herbalists think its acceptable from a consumption of Earth's resources point of view.

My old Landy turns 50 on 13th of next month and everwhere it is it seems to attract moist eyed fondness - that is until it starts up and the fumes seem to obscure any affection!

Oh well....
