Has anyone expressed interest in the car?
Has anyone got the size of this?
I was told it was smaller than a freelander?
It looks quite big in the videos, very wide and bulky like the q7?
How much is it going to be?
Engine sizes?
Whats peoples view on it?
Personally i think its quite nice, quite aggressive looking, and the interior, if its anything like the press shots looks really funky.

I thought it was going to be a smaller Rangerover but bigger than the Freelander... I Really like it... I'd buy one for the Wife so I could have a go, just got a '55' RRS for myself.

Think A3 estate sized body, so slightly smaller than a Freelander, but with much more presence...

Absolutely bursting with in cabin tech, they're having difficulty fitting it all in!

(Source is a good friend in LR's Engineering Dept.)

Definitely smaller than a Freelander (which by the way is about the same size as my Range Rover Classic!)

My understanding is that it is slightly larger than the FL2.
Will be available in 3/5 door.

I might be wrong though smile

My local dealer said the opposite, smaller than the freelander but time will tell.

Definately smaller, my mate is spending a lot of time contorting himself into tight spaces!!!

He's very honest with me regarding how good upcoming developments from JLR are, and he is immensly proud of LRX. They have woken up to the quality issues with certain recent cars, and the reliability testing has been taking up several notches, so early problems should be minimised.

An example of this is the new rotary gear selector in recent Jags. His brother was heavily involved in it, and they dumped 2l of coca cola into the mechanism, then drove the car for 100,000 miles, without fault. Previously they would have done a lot less and just signed it off...

I'm meeting with him soon, I'll see if I can wheedle any further info out of him, which may involve the consumption of lots of beer...

Things I put myself through for you guys!! ;-)

Thanks sam, any info would be great.
I might get one myself, i just dont want to be labeled as driving a girlie car, personally i think it looks quite masculine, agressive!
