Well on Thursday.
4.4V8 on LPG.
Buckingham blue with cream leather.

Just awsome.
Way more economic than my P38 4.6 I was getting under 200 miles per tank of gas.
Getting way over three hundred on the BMW engined beast.
I brimmed it today (40.83 please sir) so I will see what this tank averages.

If your contemplating it do it. Every journey is an event. Just great.

I was surfing on these this morning, very tempted, but with a 60 mile a day commute, it might just break the bank.

Really interested to hear how you get on with it.

From the description, it sounds great

Pre facelift body.
68k miles LPG conversion still under warranty.
Stock look with skirts and mud gaurds tints that's all. Loving every journey looking forward to driving again.
V8 noise at 30 ish mpg!!!!!

Based on my 90 mile a day commute, a 60 mile a day commute would cost around £60-£70 per week for LPG including a bit of petrol for a V8 RR.

Lovely! Hunted a Buck blue for ages and eventually had to settle for Cairns - all the Buck ones we could find had grey leather... yuck! Stonking spec too - the pre-facelift cars have taken a beating on resale, yet finding the crossover ones with touchscreen nav means it's 95% of a facelift car for 2-3k less.

God I miss mine! frown

I hope so.
I spent a day with the G wagon owners on Salisbury plain over Christmas.
Great fun with the right rubber so I will be testing the FFRR! Just where to go?

No mud on the leather though!!!!

I just use heavy duty seat covers and gaffer tape plastic sheeting into the footwells and onto the door trims, saves getting the suade and leather dirty.

The V8 sounds really good way better than the 4.2 I had in my Audi.
Addictive foot down action.
But waftable when needed.

It does doesn't it? We have an 05 Audi 4.2 and it sounds wet by comparison, as does the Disco3 we (sadly) replaced our L322 with.
