Hi guys.

Been silently be scouring the forum for quite sometime. Amazing source of knowledge, info and pride for the classics here, thanks.

Anyway, I was looking to by an LSE. Happy to spend the money for a premium example (although not Graeham Hunt prices - want that 6.3 overfinch so much!)

As I've been looking I've come to the realisation that a prime example is almost impossible to come across and that there are a number of non-LSE classics around that are nice.

Saw this one and am wondering if anyone knows about it, seems like someone should. ( http://www.autoemotional.com/pages/raging_rover.ht...)

Seems like a lot of car for the money especially considering that there are, on the face of it, much less desirable classics on the market for a hell of a lot more...

Thanks in advance guys.

About £1500 over priced ?
maybe more........
How rusty are the wheel nuts !
At 37k miles why did it need a respray, to cover up rust ? (see wheel nuts)

You could get a nice LSE for £2k ,& then spend up to £1k on getting it fully sorted, a lot less if you did the jobs yourself.

My brother rang up about this RRC, and things did not add up. The respray was to fix stone chips ( but the whole car done), the tailgate needs doing. The car is "with a mate", Would not use it a daily driver!

All sounds odd.

There's an ordinary overfinch classic in the classifieds here as well as a couple of nice looking LSEs.

Thanks guys. Somehow I completely missed that rust on the wheel nuts, and the conversation with Paws brother sounds suspect to say the least.

To be honest the 2K LSE is probably the better option with spend to bring up to standard. There are quite a few on here yeah, but I'm going to need to find an LPG converted car as it'll be trailering across Europe a fair bit.

Really after a brooklands fitted model, but it's not horrifically expensive to buy (although I have no idea what fitting and paint costs would be).

Just out of interest I've been scouring motorbase, carandclassic, ebay and here; is there anywhere really obvious I'm missing for a search?

Cheers for the replys anyway guys.

Cheers for that guys.

Those RRCs look great, I'll just have to try and find some time to actually go and look rather than just scour the net.
