The car has everything except a phone!
Is it easy/possible to have a local dealer to install such a thing? Or is it like some other cars in that when they leave the factory if it doesnt have it then tough you need to buy a kit and stick it somewhere on your dash (which I hate)

Thanks for any help!

It should have bluetooth as standard, so any modern phone will connect to the on board system. Unlike most systems you do not connect via the cars unit but just search for bluetooth devices from your phone and it should find a device named LAND ROVER press the button on your phone to connect and enter the code in the manual (usually 2121 ) and hey presto bluetooth hands free phone (dont forget to set the device as "auto connect" or "authorised" on your phone to automatically connect when you get in the car). On that spec car you should also have voice recognition and be able to press the voice command button on your steering whell, wait for the beep and say "telephone dial number" wait for the response and then say the number and confirm it to call that number. Great when it works.

Likewise had problems with the car not recognising various phones - though ironically, iPhones were not among them. IIRC there were some dealer software updates to add to the list of compatible phones. As Ian says, once set up, it's a doddle to use and because it comes out of the proper stereo speakers not just a crappy box stuffed under the dash, the audio quality is excellent.

Enjoy, they're fab cars.

Ron, have you considered getting it chipped and an underdrive pulley fitted? Mark Adams will be here next week! ;-)

Funny enough I have thought about it LOL

I also need to get some prices from you for the Corvette for some Castrol SRF brake fluid and some engine oil. Can you PM me the costs?
