Disco 3 knocking noise

Just had my disco3 retested and there is still a knocking noise coming from the front suspension/steering area. Had the trackrod ends and a few balljoints replaced and expected that the test would show up something but it flew through with no problems. My friends disco3 also has the same "knock" and his passed the test too... His disco has been on the ramps a number of times and cant find anything. You can hear the knock even at small bump or speed ramps, could it be a loose cover or bracket?
