Hi all
I have a duff wheel bearing on my 92, 200TDi Disco.

I have ordered the bits and scrounged a hub nut box spanner. However, does anyone have a link to a good guide or some advice for me? Never done a bearing before. Will I need to have them done on a press somewhere?

Piece of wee wee.
The fronts are a bit more tricky due to the CV joint, but other than that it's just big Meccano and goes back together pretty much the same way it comes apart. The bearing races tend to just knock out of the hub and off the stub shaft (which is the trickier one to get off) unless it's run dry for a while and pretty much welded itself together in which case you're f***ed.
Can get quite messy with grease from the hub and oil from the axle, plus you'll need a few new gaskets (can't remember how many or what for but the drive flange is one of them).
Oh and a couple of new lock washers for the hub retaining nut.
And don't overtighten said nut or your nice newbearing will go pop far quicker than it should.
