Dealing with a rusty 90 TDCi underside!
Discussion
I took my SVX for its first service last week and while it was there I had a good nosey around some other TDCi Landys(2007onwards)that were at the dealership.I noticed that some of the early puma ones are now getting quite rusty underneath already and was quite shocked at just how bad some were.
I couldnt put up with my SVX getting like that so was just wondering what other peoples thoughts were on how to deal with a rusty underside??
So far the options I have considered are sending the car to 'before and after' for a kleentech treatment however there is lots of info good and bad on various forums about it-must admit it looks impressive if a little expensive, waiting until the rust gets hold and then send it to a guy I know who used to sandblast and repaint truck bodies for me and let him do his stuff every couple of years,or finally just get my local garage to give it a good coat of Dinol or some other rust treatment when required.
