What, in the name of Solihull, are those items where the wheels should be?

Photoshop? Please tell me it is! Not sure the wheels suit it, guessing it rarely sees any mud?

I dunno, but I think they look really good in that pic, they don't seem to be low profile road tyres, but chunky items that just happen to be on huge rims! biggrin

No, I'd rather see it on some OE Boost alloys, like wot it left the factory with, or even some Wolf-spec steels but if you like it, crack on Treacle.

That one left the factory on 16" steel rims, the wheels are from Twisted Performance- the LR stays on the road 99% of the time and can now keep up with most things on the twisty A roads. It now brakes and stops in the wet. You can keep the OE wheels and tyres (had ,em on my 4 previous Defenders and would put them in the dangerous category). As for the looks, the Boost alloys look too small for the tyre and the ally pits too easily. The diameter of the wheel/tyre in the picture is only 20mm more than the OE. I'm more than pleased with the 90, and happy that I am in the minority because I want my Landy to be a bit different to usual 'out of the crate'look.

In what way dangerous? Not being facetious, I'm genuinely curious.

So what's wrong with people doing something to suit their own taste? And do you have to be an off-road fan to desire to own and drive a Land Rover? I personally enjoy chucking my 90 at impossible hills but that's my own personal preference. I too am considering a Landy as a family car, reserved just for on road use (with the occasional voyage into a camping field), possibly with some lower profile tyres to improve the road bias.

I've got a spare sense of humour in the cupboard under the stairs if you'd like to borrow it.
