Has anyone come accross this before

I have a Y reg TD5 Disco pre face lift. The problem is that Diesel is somehow leaking into the oil and starting to fill the sump.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how can we sort it.

Cracked cylinder head...

Get it changed fast before it wrecks the engine !!

Hi

That might be caused by leaking injector seals.That's a pretty common problem on the TD5. If so it's a cheap repair. It would be worth getting a second opinion before replacing the head.

We haven't really looked at the problem yet and althought the head cracking is a possibility I was wondering if there was any common issues with the TD5 engine. The injector seals were going to be the first place to look.
