It started with someone telling me my brake lights seem to be faulty - permanently on.
My local RR specialist couldn't find anything wrong, and when I was there, we couldn't reproduce the fault.

Now, over the last couple of weeks, I've recognised that the brake light issue seems to be related to the Air Suspension. On startup in the morning, the brake lights are on and the car lowish. The Air Suspension sits flashing (dash light) trying to go up, but not moving. I then repeated tap the brake pedal until eventually (a dozen or so times) the brake lights go off and at the exact same time, the car rises to correct height.

A couple of times, this has also included seeing "traction control overheating" on the warning panel, and then this morning I got "SRS Airbag fault"! These go as quickly as they flash up!

So I'm guessing at least a dodgy connection/short, and worst the BECM is giving up the ghost - what do you think? Anyone else had similar symptoms?

Could it have anything to do with having all four Air Springs changed a couple of months ago?

Thanks in advance for advice.

sounds more like a lazy compressor.

do you drop the ride height when you park up in the evening ?....or has the car settled down by its self?

Check that the cruise control is working fully.A fulty cruise control switch open circuits the electrics and throws the brake lights on.

Cruise Control packed up 4 or 5 yrs ago. However, I just tried toggling CC switch while waiting for suspension to rise. It didn't seem to make any difference.

Any other advice/suggestions?
