antifreeze for p38 4.6

Guys do I need a particualy antifreeze for my RR 4.6. Its been suggested its better to stick to a specfic type. The one in currently is bright pink and I need to top it up

It's the O.A.T.S. long life stuff and cannot be mixed with anything else. It is possible to flush the whole system and go to regular blue stuff but not worth it.

With a P38 I'd be more concerned as to why it's losing coolant

I guess I ought to know how much coolant loss is enough to worry about on these cars anbd over what time frame - anyone any thoughts?

Any coolant loss is not good news. It's got to go somewhere so head gasket or heater matrix o rings worth checking if hoses and rad are good.

Found it - it was a small leak on the "hot spot" as the mechanics called it
