P38 cd stacking prob.

Hi guys, my cd unit in back of my p38 doesnt seem to want to eject loading cartridge,it makes all the wurring noises but the cartridge stays put. Any ideas not involving petrol and matches would be much appreciated.

How good are you with a screwdriver? I've had this happen to a few cars in the past caused by a disk getting jammed in the wrong place in the mechanism. Always managed to take the unit out, strip it to pieces and remove the disc before, just a bit fiddly.

Thing is, if it's knackered anyways, you're not really losing much if you bugger it up completely.
