I've just broken the local car wash! The drier got caught under the spare wheel and shut everything down. I was able to drive away, no damage to the LR or the car wash but leaving a confused queue of cars waiting and wondering why nothing was workingeek

I've never had problems before, even with thea particular car wash. Has anyone else had problems with car washes? (I suppose that real Defender drivers use V8 powered pressure washers and would never admit to putting the LR through a car wash)

I just go to one of those ‘fly’ car washes; you know the ones run by people from countries that end in ‘stan’.

They charge me an extra £1 as it’s a 4x4 and don’t blink as all the mud falls off.

Mind, they may be getting wise, when I pulled up recently one of the blokes immediately fetched a shovel.
