Insurance for Defender
Discussion
I'm new to this section of PH so be nice!
Things have transpired such that I am likely to be in possession of a B plate Defender within the next month. This will be my first foray into LR ownership, and as such it's caught me a bit off guard in terms of finding a recommended broker/provider for insurance.
Milage will be limited to 7000 p/a at the very most. I will be the main driver; 25yrs with 4 years n/c and my parents will need to be covered as well; 66 and 64 yrs, both with 9+ years n/c and no claims and convictions in the last 5 years.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Footman James have been very reasonable for an '83 Series III Station Wagon that I've just bought.
Four drivers, unlimited mileage, breakdown cover, parked on the street - £133 with £50 excess!
My modified Series IIa (RR chassis, V8 etc) is about £280p.a. agreeed value with Adrian Flux.
