Range Rover Classic Electric seats
Discussion
So, got myself a 93 K Range Rover Classic, lovely car, would be even more lovely when we can get it started. (It died on the way home, just cut out, and now won't start, at all.
That hopefully is in hand next week, however while looking at fuses i moved the drivers seat forward and now it won't go back. It had blown the fuse, I have changed that and it still won't move.
Is there any way of manually moving the seats? As with it all the way forward I can't get in the car!

Without looking it up, I don't know of any way to manualy moving the seats. All the seat problems on mine were caused by the switch contacts corroding. Take the top off the switch box and disconnect it. Carefully disassemble the switch on a tray (an old biscuit tin is better) there are a lot of ball bearings, springs and loose contacters in there. I used to use scotch brite on all the contacts. Reassemble and refit.
Even if this doesn't solve your problem, it's often worth doing.
If you're still having issues, PM me, and I'll have a dig around for the rave manuals.

This has to be one of my favourite posts in a long time. Good luck with fixing it! That hopefully is in hand next week, however while looking at fuses i moved the drivers seat forward and now it won't go back. It had blown the fuse, I have changed that and it still won't move.
