In my opinion, the Overfinch one should be considerably less.... redcard

The standard one looks lovely.

Is it any wonder they went bust? They just turn a motoring icon, a car with real class, into a tarts boudoir! I guess even footballers have better taste nowadays.

Once upon a time they actually did something other than just add premier league bling. Like fitting Chevy engines for example, which would not be worthwhile anymore since the stock V8 is so good. I'm not at all surprised they went bust. Taking a good base vehicle and tastlessly ruining it for the sake of the diminishing pool of people who can't spend their money fast enough is evidently not a good business model.

Overfinch are completely irrelevant since LR launched the supercharged versions.

I think their TDV8's also killed it for them. No need for an engine transplant when a remap will do a better job.
If they had gone down the Bowler Nemesis EXR route they would have been okay. But body kits are too easy to manufacture/copy.

In the defence of Overfinch Rangies, this is a particularly horrid one. Since they went bust, a company up north has bought the rights to the name and is making a much better quality kit that blends well with the car. It looks like factory fit. In fact IMO it looks less aftermarket than the Land Rover Exterior Design Pack bodykit.

Between these two cars, I'd have the standard one though. If you were buying a brand new one, I would consider an Overfinch.

See a few Kahn RRS driving about in Glasgow, makes me sad seeing the sheer amount of tacky crap and horrible alloys on them. Also driven like knobheads so does nothing for the rest of us 4x4 drivers who drive considerately.

Op, imo. No the standard would be worth more, the overfinch seller recons by adding £5-6k of extras. This bumps up the price by £5-6k over a non chav one.

Kahn's are vile. There is another one around now called Onyx which is just vomit makes the Kahn look fantastic.

Am I the only one that feels that the Overfinch shouldn't be be put in the same back as these other chav conversions. At least OF stuff looks like it is made for the Range Rover. I quite like the new ones like this

I think most would agree it's not as bad as the Kahn stuff. I believe the problem comes when you move from understated improvement to brash bodykits. As has been said Overfinch had a good niche market, initially making 4 door Classics, fitting more powerful engines, improved handling & interiors combined with subtle exterior tweaks. Once the later factory cars had plenty of power and could be chipped further, combined with better interiors, their niche was gone. Clearly the market would not sustain their subsequent direction.
