Did some good green laning near where I live the other day. Went through Payhembury ford which is 100m drive up the river from a UCR onto another UCR. Then a really challenging lane that I had never done before with some sweaty palm moments.

Off topic I know but how have you got on with your rad muff? Thinking about getting one, albeit I know a bit late for the winter, but not spoken to someone thats got one yet!

Hi,
I have spent many happy hours in that area...I assume that all three ways are now clear? I think in 2008 there was a downed tree on the section West of the ford.

Hi

It was all clear .. even the ford was OK although very tight with two trees at one point but OK.

I bought the muff recently specifically for wading so as to avoid water/ muck damaging the radiator, keeping a bit more water out of the engine bay and helping to create a bow wave.

All you'll see is the radiator grill behind it.
