Hi,

I am about to do my test and have heard insurance isn't as silly as you'd expect on old land drover 90's?

Does anyone know of who'll be the best to get a quote off?

Many Thanks

I got a quote on a 110 and the cheapest was just over £800.. I'm 19 with 0 no claims.

at 17 you will struggle I would have thought. Classic insurance from Footman james would be realistic at the price you mention. Has to be lower than a group 3 and that means no defenders. It does mean 90's and series 3 or below.

For FJ, no engine mods and no turbos allowed, they all push you up the rating

Thanks Butch. Do you mind telling me who the quote was with?

It's worth phoning FJ or Adrian Flux. They will tell you ways to reduce the 'risk' and lower your quote.

Try phoning NFU Mutual aswell. I've heard of young fellas getting very reasonable quote on defenders with them.
