Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on my vehicle for both a private sale and a trade bid. I have already replaced it and would like to get rid quickly but at the same time don't want to give the car away.

It seems that dealers seem to be more interested in the car than members of the public although I am possibly being impatient.

I have told a couple of different dealers to value it want to know how you think they will price it and also if my valuation looks out of whack.

Thanks in advance

View the glass's guide for free on the vauxhall website:

Edit out of curiosity I ran your car through:

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition:
£18500
Average condition:
£17100
Below average condition:
£15300
So I would expect to be offered around those figures by dealers.

I went the Disco to RR route last year so you have my sympathies! It seems that Disco 2 is going up in value, Disco 3 is going the other way!

Brightwells sell loads of them at auction, this is the link to their recent sales list....but you might not want open it;

A chum of mine has just bought a D3 from Motorpoint, got the same impression as others that no appetite for them at the moment so serious deals to be done.

Best of luck!

Seems like a decent car, HSE spec, nice colour, and low mileage. The slight damage might put a few off, could be worth getting it done.

I have the same car with 72k up for £18k, so £20k for your lower mileage one seems about right.
The biggest problem you will have as a private seller is not offering finance or PX. It could be a while before someone with £20k cash and no PX is looking for a car like yours.

Take no notice of the guide prices, they are well behind at the moment.
