Have a look at the last page of this, the bit that details the earnings for period 7.

I've got a mate who says earning £40k a month is achievable. I don't believe him.

Is it a pyramid thing?

Where's the link?

Pyramid is illegal. MLM is legal, and absolutely completely different.

One word - Amway.

(For those old enough to remember)

He says that because he's been told that by someone else, who in turn has been told that by someone else, who in turn has been told that by someone else...

The only people making money from these schemes are the people who were very early in on the business and are therefore near the top of the pyramid er, I mean at the 'upper levels'.

A few people in a place I used to work years ago were suckered into Amway. One of them came into work one Monday telling me he'd test driven a Bentley at the weekend as he reckoned he would be making enough out of it to buy one in 6 months time. Funnily enough, he didn't.

Judging by the quality of the products of theirs I have tried. Not in a Million Years will it be possible to make £40,000 a month selling that crap! Still McDonnalds manage it. scratchchin

Had a relative that did the Amway thing many years ago. Begged me to let him bring his manager around to pitch to us. Sat through his pitch, nodding politely, listened to how we could make lots.

At the end I asked one question "If it's so good, why are you driving a knackered rusty Fiesta?"

He wasn't even good enough at selling to tell me he didn't use his good car for customer visits wink

there's been a kleeneze thread on here before.
there's only so many people out there willing to pay 4-5 quid for an item thats available in a pound shop.
i looked at it way back in 1994 and it was no good then.

What's 'period 7'? Unless it's several years, I find it hard to believe. I've never heard of them before, and selling millions of pounds of house hold goods can't be easy.

I know of someone who is involved in a MLM scheme. He's a bit of a fantasist, and seems like exactly the sort of person these types of setups rely on.

the main problem you have is there's no set territories for franchisee's. you could end up with several people all on the same patch and kleeneze dont care, they make their money selling you the brochures.

I did Betterware for about 6 weeks, which is similar but at least you have your own territory and didn't have to pay for the catalogues. I got about 5 customers a week and made £100 odd pounds altogether in commission for probably 200 hours work!! Half the people don't return the catalogues - if it's rained, most of them will be water damaged so can't really be used again.
When you deliver the goods, people aren't in or they've not got enough money to pay for them. It was an experience but one I wouldn't repeat.

Period 7 is apparently month 7. And that figure sat at around £2m is a MONTHLY turnover.

Thats got to be bogus. One person shifting £2m of complete tatt a month? Either they are incredible sales men or are surrounded by gullible tts!

Either that or they've been clever and managed to get into supplying the local council who will happily pay over the odds for complete horse st.

Kudos

come on, look at the photo of that bloke on page 2. Can you see him walking around a council estate leaving brochures?
