Anybody used/using Vodafone One Net Express? If so, is it as good as it sounds? Are there any issues I, as a potential customer, ought to be aware of?

As far as I can see, none of the other telephone service providers offer anything similar. Is that correct or have I missed something? If there is anything else similar out there, is it better and/or cheaper?

ONE NET is a fantastic product that Vodafone offer mainly incorporating landline number to a mobile device. If you need this facility there is a cheaper way to do this.

1 - Open a sipgate ccount (www.sipgates.co.uk) this provides a free 01xx number
2 - Download a free SIP client such as FRING or Sipgate (for IPHONE)
3 - Setup the service to work with sipgate on the client, this provides the same functionality.

ATT1981 - that is interesting. Will look into it. Thank you for your input.

In the meantime, does anybody else have anything good or bad to say about Vodafone One Net Express or any other similar service providers?

I just paid my second month for one net we have 8 phones all with different numbers I'm not 100% sure how it works I just pay the bills I was advised to invest in it. Its very useful if you need land line numbers to transfer to mobiles its also good if you want to use the same mobile for business and home as it will switch off the avalibility of one number at a certain time if you want it to and people will only able to leave voicemail or ring you on a private number after that time. The only downside is that I have been charged £800 this month on a contract with 8 unlimted phones which should be £400. So double charge, I'm also waiting on 7 of the phones still two which I can't compalin abouit as we are waiting on iphone 5, which makes the deal very cheap we have 16 numbers and 2 landlines included. I can talk about it more but I'm currently out shopping the gf needs my full attention lol hope this helps

Chowiekid - that is helpful, thank you. Must say, I am very impressed that you managed to post such a detailed reply whilst out shopping, especially in the company of your significant other. The shopping must be gripping!

Anybody else got any experience and/or views?

OP - We've come across Vodafone One Net several times and each time we've done the analysis, One Net works out as very expensive. Compared to having separate landline and mobile contracts with a telephone system to provide the same forwarding/switching technology that One Net provides.

Mr Overheads, that is helpful, thank you.

I take it that the benefit of the Vodafone system is that it is easy to set up and use but you are, effectively, paying extra for such convenience.

I use Twilio to forward a landline number to my mobile. Costs me pennies per year!
