Conference calling

Hi I am running my own businesses after leaving a corporate world of work.

I used to use conference calls but never gave a thought as to how they worked. Company organised, paid etc.

Now I am in a position with one of the businesses where I have two other partners. Getting together for a regulat catch up may be difficult.

Can I organise conference calling from BT 02 or Vidafone, and will it cost a fortune? I am only going to have a need 2-3 times a month.

You can get free conference numbers, which use 0844 numbers to make their cash, so you enssentially pay thorugh your phone bill. Someone like Arkadin and/ or Conference now.

We use "GoToMeeting" for WebCasts and find it excellent. Get one of these accounts and it will provide you with a conference call too.

I work for a small company and we use Conference Genie http://www.conferencegenie.co.uk/ They're fairly cheap and we've had no problems that I can remember..

I wouldn't recommend Skype for business calls.

Are you looking to make international conference calls and/or do you anticipate being at or near a landline phone for the calls or do you need to be able to make/receive conference calls anywhere? i.e. on a mobile.

Thanks for the Links guys. No pans for international calos, just trouble getting 3 people with other business interests in the same pace now and then.
