Well, we've just bought a business quite some distance from where we live so initially there will be a 90 miles of driving per day. So obviously we're looking at cars that would be suitable and in budget.

Now I know that you cannot claim for a car off tax if you're just commuting from home to work. The difference here is that I have to go to another place of work for 5mins both on the way to the new business and on the way back. By my understanding the journey between the 2 places of work are claimable of tax...right?

So, the journey there in the morning would be:

Home===4mile===>Place of work 1 (5mins)====41miles====> Place of work 2 (all day)

then the journey back would be:

Place of work 2====41miles====>place of work 1 (5mins)===4 miles===> Home.

by my understanding 82/90=91% of the whole cost of the car, warranty, finance, fuel, insurance everything might be claimable off tax. Is that too good to be true? Because it sounds it!

Advice appreciated. If the above is true, then woohoo, 4 yr old e92 M3 it is smile
