A friend of mine is looking for some day trading software, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some. He's been offered some 'geko?' software for £6k or £3k if you dont make £25k in your first year. Anyone used this? any recommendations appreciated.

If the software was that good, they wouldn't be selling it, they'd be using it!

You need to get onto some financial boards, www.iii.co.uk used to have some, not sure these days though.

The basic premise is, if its sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Sounds like far too much money to me, when you look at it, doing the research and trades manually doesn't cost anything and £3-6k is a lot of profit to make.

I did ask how much money they were basing their £25k return on but didn't get an answer... we will wait and see. Check out their demo. I'm no expert on trading, its all dutch to me.

It is a scam - there is some sort of moneyback guarantee thing with it but you hjave to have taken every single trade over a few months or something. There is no Holy Grail

Treat technical analysis with great care. Treat day trading with great care. IMHO it make little sense for UK investors.
