London day rates in construction.

Does anyone have a rough idea what the day work's rate is for a two man block paving gang (labour,tools transport)doing block paving remeadial works in London.

Is that for two men including tools and transport, I've had a quote for £550 for a days work travelling from the Midlands.

Maybe try and find someone nearer if you want to save on costs. It's probably going to cost at least £100 in fuel depending where they are coming from. If they stay over they have hotel costs.. Ultimately these are going to be relayed onto you as the customer.

Id be amazed if you couldn't find someone local to beat that.
