foreign currency needed

I need to buy approx euro 27k and send it abroad on Monday. I bank with Lloyds and I'm sure they can process my payment but will charge a fair bit for it. Since the amount involved is 27k, even a small percentage differential would be material

Any ideas where I can change GBP to EURO electronically and quickly? I'd like to send my GBP to some exchange company and they send me back euro immediately. Is that possible? Any recommendations?

Good recommendation above but also if you have a sensible small business manager at Lloyds try calling them and haggling. All the banks know that the firms like HiFX and Caxton are eating their lunch and can be flexible.

I recently used Thomas Exchange who were good on the rate (compared to Barclays) and good service. But I think the issue you will have is that the anti money laundering checks may take a day or so.
