Crowd funding property

So it seems you can now buy into property in a similar way to shares. You own a small share of a rental and recieve dividends.

Has anyone actually done this? What sort of ROI have you had?

I invested in a company that offers a platform to crowd invest in properties.

I see this as a time share... you end up with an expensive bit of paper and they end up with your money and you see little return with excuses.
